1. In the press TSJ has made comments that have come off aniti T&B... do you understand why his comments would hurt and leave many T&Bers resentful?

KDP: I have not heard anything bad Trevor has said and I know he really likes working with me. We both share frustrations with the previous writers vision of the couple and we are hoping Ron will set this couple on fire again and get back to where we started. Hang in there. Everyone is entitled to their opinions...the mags, the fans, and even the actors. Comments can be hurtful it they are about me personally....but about the writing and the character...I have no control over that and it just goes with the territory.

 

2. Many fans would love to see Max come back and Blair and Max reunite. Any chance of that happenings and how great was it having Jimmy back in the studio?

KDP: It was wonderful to have Jimmy back as Max. I think you will see for yourself how good it would be to have him back when the 10000th episode airs in mid August. Let me know what you think...

 

3. ABC is really getting behind your new CD, I Want To Love You. They ran a promo featuring it and have let Blair sing many songs from it at Capicorn, and you even hosted the View the day of its release. It has to make you feel good that they are giving you so much support right now. Your music seems to be your passion right now. Can you tell your fans about this new CD and what your music means to you.

KDP: I think ABC gets the important connection and the promotion works both ways. I have been promoting this record on my own and every time ABC is mentioned. I'm very grateful that they have included my music in the show and in their promo's for the show and the 'Fun in the Sun".

 

4. The View... you co hosted the day before the big fright with Rosie and Elizabeth. Did you notice any friction between them and would you ever consider sitting in that seat full time?

KDP: I had a great time on May 22! Everyone was happy and wonderful to me. My hope is that they will let me co host when Elisabeth is on Maternity leave.

 

5. Dena has been replaced by Ron as Head writer. Ron has been round a long time and worked his way up. Do you think this will help him do better storytelling? Should Blair fans feel at ease with this change?

KDP: Ron is a terrific writer with a great love for OLTL. Rest assured he will do what is right by the show.

 

6. Who really has the control over storyline. The Head Writer, Executive Producer, and ABC Daytime President?

KDP: All the above.

 

7. Your Crochet TV Show, Crochet Today is coming out soon. You did some of the mic work on the TV Guide Special and you have hosted the Country Showdown twice. Is hosting something you would like to do more of?

KDP: I enjoy it because I enjoy people. I'm not ready to give up my day job yet.

 

8. Is there any chance REG will return to OLTL and did you like the dynamics of the Blair/Todd/Van relationship?

KDP: Haven't heard anything about that lately....wish she would come back....There will always be room in my dressing room for her.

 

9. Blair and Cris have developed a nice friendship and so has Blair and John. A while back you suggest you would not mind having more scenes with John and Blair. Are you happy with the way both of these relationships have been written and can we look forward to seeing more of them when Todd returns to the canvas?

KDP: Michael Easton and David Fumero are both great to work with. How did I get so lucky?
