Kassie had her Fan Club Parry on Saturday, June 7 in Nashville and it was more fun than any of us could have hoped for. Kassie walked around and shared a breakfast buffet with fans, then we brought in her high school drama teacher, Judy Woodring to surprise her. The Fan Club had bought Kassie a diamond shaped awards, and Judy said some words about Kassie and presented it to her. The award was shaped like a diamond and Kassie joked it was the Bahdra.
The inscription read...

On the metal sticker at the bottom it said,

Kassie was very touched by it all and it brought tears to her eyes. She said it meant more to her than an Emmy...

After that she answered some questions everyone has submitted. They asked about her new CD which is in the works. Kassie had a meeting while in Nashville with Lyric Street which is owned by ABC, so keep your fingers crossed, we will let you know. She said she had had a meeting with the people at The View, but they said they were looking for someone younger. Some fans said they thought she would be perfect and she said they should write and tell them that. She said she would love doing both, but that she would never leave Blair.

After the questions Kassie took the stage. She started off by singing this great new song from her upcoming CD. It is called "A Dream Wants To Fly" and she says it reminds her of when she was young and first out on her own. Liz, the lady who helped Kassie pick the songs for her upcoming CD was there, and they talked about the writers and recording the CD in Nashville. The song was incredible and just getting to hear Kassie sing live was a treat in itself. Oh yeah, our sound man... He just happened to play in Wally Kurth's band. His name was Johnny and he was just great. Kassie then saw this guy and thought he wasn't paying attention, so she started talking to him and pulled him on stage. His wife came up and said he had never seen the show, but he did know who Kassie was, and he loved the song Natural History, which Kassie sings with James on her CD Naked. Kassie asked Jon if he wanted to sing James' part, but he declined, so Kassie sang both. She would stand on one side and be Kassie, then run to the other side and sing deep and be James. It was so funny and Jon was such a great sport. After that Kassie sang "Nothing at all" , which she has sang on the Soap Opera Digest Awards. Then she sang "Weakness In Me" for Kammi and ended it with another new song... "No Regrets", which she says is a great Blair and Todd song. The song ROCKED!!!!!!!!!! Kassie sounded so good... you will have to get the tape just to see and hear her...

After that she signed autographs and talked with fans and I am sure there is so much more I am forgetting to tell, but next year all of you will have to go and just see for yourselves how much fun Kassie is.

For those of you who helped. Thank You. Kari and Angela . you 2 are the BEST. Miss Wendy ... you are so much fun and I thank goddness you were with me when we were so worried about the girls in the accident. You were a ROCK and you ROCK. Laura and Nikki... Sharon and Debra, your friends at the door... Everyone "Thank You" and be ready for next year. Kassie says we are doing it again...
